The Forest Hill Neighbourhood is considered to be one of Toronto’s most prestigious Neighbourhoods. In fact it is considered to be one of Toronto’s three wealthiest and exclusive Neighbourhoods. The Forest Hill Neighbourhood is divided between Upper Forest Hill, sometimes called Forest Hill North, and Lower Forest Hill Village, sometimes called Forest Hill South. The 
Cedarvale Neighbourhood is also considered part of the Forest Hill Neighbourhood. Many of the homes are staturesque mansions, comparable to the Rosedale Neighbourhood. The names Upper and Lower applied to the topographical elevation rather than the position on the map. Since the 1920’s the Forest Hill Building Code required that all homes be designed by an architect and have a tree planted in the front yard. More....
