York Mills/Bayview Tidbit

The plaza at the corner of York Mills and Bayview is changing again. Welcome to a new Hero Burger restaurant that just opened up serving Hero Certified Burgers. It is the first Canadian franchise to offer 100% Heritage Angus Beef produced by a small group of ranchers in Western Canada. Heritage Angus Beef is sustainably raised with care for both the livestock and land being in the forefront of their production practices. The Beef contains no additives or preservatives, the cattle are raised free range without the use of growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics, grazed on the finest grasses, fodder and select feeds without animal by-products. They are also certified Halal. Welcome to the Neighbourhood! I am sure that they will do well. York Mill/Bayview Residents need a different venue for fast food that is healthy eating.

As well, Welcome to Ricci Jewellers who are moving into their new location originally from Bayview Village. They have been temporarily housed at 300 York Mills Road, across the street from the plaza, while the new store is being renovated. They have a wonderful selection of jewellery and are quite knowledgeable in what they sell. For a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, or even a great graduation present, it will be nice to visit this store. Welcome to the Neighbourhood!

And a quick shout out to Shopper’s Drug Mart that has opened their new mega store. From prescriptions, to high end cosmetics, to their regular brands, they also now have food and giftware that help in a bind. Candies, chocolates, greeting cards, a Post Office, Magazines, the new Shoppers Drug Mart is only better. Glad to have you back! You were missed during construction. Welcome Back to the Neighbourhood!!
